IRB-01 is located at:

Gainesville Health Science Center (HSC), 1600 SW Archer Road - map of HSC
Communicore Building (north side of the HSC) - map of Communicore ground floor
Room CB-172

Directions - there are several ways to get to the IRB:

1. Shands Atrium, 1st Floor HSC: facing away from Archer Road, take the corridor to your right and go past the Cafeteria. Follow this corridor to the Founders Gallery and turn left, past the coffee shop, and go outside onto the Sun Terrace. After going outside immediately turn right - there is a stairwell recessed down a short alcove. Take the stairs down two flights to the Communicore Basement. Once you exit the stairwell and are in the basement turn left. The corridor will turn right and CB-172 will be the first office on the left after the corridor turns (the second office on the left after getting off of the stairs).
   
   
2. Ground floor, Communicore Building, Post Office/Book Store as a reference: when exiting either of these locations turn right, follow corridor and turn left on the first available corridor. You will walk a short distance and the corridor will turn to the left again (there will be doors to straight ahead and to the left, both of which should be locked). The corridor will turn right. You should see the IRB sign hanging from the ceiling. Enter the stairwell. There will be a door to the right for the stairs to go down to the basement. Once you exit the stairwell and are in the basement turn left. The corridor will turn right and CB-172 will be the first office on the left after the corridor turns (the second office on the left after getting off of the stairs).
   
   
3. Ground floor, Communicore Building, Credit Union as a reference: when exiting the Credit Union turn left. Walk past the ATM and elevators and turn left (like you are going to the Post Office/Bookstore). Turn right down the first available corridor (a few feet away). You will walk a short distance and the corridor will turn to the left (there will be doors to straight ahead and to the left, both of which should be locked). The corridor will turn right. You should see the IRB sign hanging from the ceiling. Enter the stairwell. There will be a door to the right for the stairs to go down to the basement. Once you exit the stairwell and are in the basement turn left. The corridor will turn right and CB-172 will be the first office on the left after the corridor turns (the second office on the left after getting off of the stairs).
