New Users will need to complete IRB training as posted: HIPAA for researchers annually, CITI or NIH, and the Local IRB Video (IRB800).

Every 3 years the IRB will require a refresher training. This consists of watching the updated Local IRB video and taking the quiz. The refresher video should be available through UF’s “myTraining” portal within the next month. As soon as this training is available, an announcement will be made.

CITI and NIH courses taken as a new user will have the expiration date extended out by 30 years for UF/Shands faculty and staff.

For VA Users: CITI training will continue to be completed per VA policies.

NOTE: Effective March 2015, CITI Program’s website will block use of Internet Explorer version 7.0, which is now more than 8 years old. Users will need to use Internet Explorer version 8.0 or later, or a current version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
